Manchester United are planning to strengthen their defence next year, with three players reportedly included on the club’s shortlist.
Insider Ekrem Konur named Lecce defender Tiago Gabriel, Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite and Finn Jeltsch of Stuttgart as potential targets for the English club in a social media post.
The reported interest comes after Manchester United conceded eight goals in their opening five rounds of the English Premier League.
Michael Carrick’s side have collected five points from those matches and are currently 12th in the table.
Manchester United’s next league match will be at Old Trafford, where they will face London club Tottenham.
