Yan Diomande marked his return against former club RB Leipzig with a goal and an assist as Real Madrid secured a 4-1 victory in the UEFA Champions League.
The Ivory Coast winger came on in the 70th minute and supplied Kylian Mbappe with a pass for Real Madrid’s third goal three minutes before scoring himself.
In the 87th minute, Diomande met a cross from Brahim Diaz with a right-footed volley, sending the ball into the top-left corner to complete the scoring.
It was a spectacular finish from the former Leipzig player, whose late contribution turned an already convincing Real Madrid win into a memorable personal return against his old side.
