Tottenham host Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday, with both sides looking to improve difficult starts to the new season. The match will begin at 14:30 Moscow time.
Tottenham ended last season in the lower half of the table, narrowly avoiding relegation to the Championship. Although they went unbeaten during pre-season, that form did not carry over into the opening weeks of the new league campaign.
Their most emphatic victory came in the League Cup, where they beat Charlton 5-1. Tottenham were knocked out in the following round, however, losing 3-1 to Liverpool.
Aston Villa’s start has been even more challenging. Unai Emery’s side followed a successful previous league campaign with a 2-1 defeat by PSG in the UEFA Super Cup.
Villa then lost three of their first four Premier League matches, leaving them also searching for greater consistency as they prepare to face Tottenham.
