The London club are weighing up a bid for the 26-year-old England international during the winter transfer window, with the proposed deal potentially costing about €145.8m.
Tottenham are reportedly prepared to commit such a significant sum in the middle of the season as they seek to strengthen their midfield options. The club previously attempted to sign Gibbs-White last year.
Gibbs-White has made five Premier League appearances this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
