Tottenham have fallen to the bottom of the Premier League for the first time since 2008 after losing 3-2 at home to Aston Villa.
The defeat came in the fifth round of the 2026/2027 English season and saw Tottenham score their first goals of the campaign.
Fulham, who began the round in 20th place, drew with Manchester United to move level with Tottenham on two points. Tottenham are below their fellow London club on goal difference, leaving them at the foot of the table for the first time in 18 years.
Tottenham will have the chance to respond when they visit Manchester United at Old Trafford in the sixth round on 10 October. Manchester United are 13th with four points.
