Stellenbosch FC Assess Olisa Ndah After Orlando Pirates Exit

South African side Stellenbosch FC is reportedly assessing Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah following his departure from Orlando Pirates during the recent transfer window, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 28-year-old centre-back made 81 appearances for the Buccaneers and became a fan favourite at the Soweto-based club, despite battling recurring injury setbacks that disrupted parts of his stay.

Ndah enjoyed success with Orlando Pirates, winning two Nedbank Cup titles and playing a key role when fit. However, both parties mutually agreed to part ways in the last transfer window, bringing an end to his time in Johannesburg.

The Nigerian international had recently been linked with a move to Libyan outfit Al Shomooa, with reports suggesting that negotiations were at an advanced stage.

However, Stellenbosch FC has now emerged as a strong contender for his signature. The club is understood to be closely monitoring Ndah’s fitness and overall condition before making a final decision on a potential deal.

With Stellenbosch continuing their assessment, clarity on Ndah’s future is expected in the coming days. A move within the South African Premier Division could offer the defender an opportunity to revive his career and regain consistent playing time.

For Ndah, securing the right environment will be crucial as he looks to put injury struggles behind him and re-establish himself at both club and international level.
