Former France midfielder Samir Nasri has criticised the decision to award Harry Kane the Ballon d’Or, saying: “I didn’t know winning the Bundesliga and German Cup was enough to win the Ballon d’Or.”
Kane won the prestigious award for the first time in his career after the vote. Kylian Mbappe finished second, while Lamine Yamal was third.
