Russia will face Nigeria in an intriguing international friendly during the current break, with both teams using the fixture to assess their squads and prepare for future challenges.
Russia remain excluded from official UEFA and FIFA competitions, meaning their international programme continues through friendlies against opponents from different footballing regions. Nigeria, meanwhile, will use the match to improve their understanding on the pitch and examine the strength of their squad.
