The Russian Football Association has announced three high-profile international friendly matches one of which is against Nigeria's Super Eagles in June, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The European nation nation was banned from all international football activities in October 2023 following the invasion of the Russian army in Ukraine.
Although the world football governing body (FIFA) is yet to make official their reinstatement, Russia will first be playing Zambia in March before playing Nigeria in June.
The match, which is still awaiting confirmation of a venue, is expected to take place in Moscow.

Russia will also face Belarus just four days after their encounter with Nigeria, as they continue to rebuild their international schedule following a FIFA ban.
The Russian Football Association has been working to revive the national team's international calendar after being sidelined from several competitions due to the ban.
