Roma head coach Gian Piero Gasperini praised the contribution of the club’s young players after his side beat Cagliari 4-2 in Serie A.
Emanuele Lulli and Niccolo Pisilli scored Roma’s first two goals, earning particular recognition from Gasperini after the victory.
The manager also acknowledged that fatigue is beginning to affect his team, while admitting that Roma have found it difficult to cope without Dybala and Kone.
Despite those absences and the demands on his squad, Gasperini said the result was a source of pride after Roma defeated a challenging Cagliari side.
Roma’s victory leaves them third in the championship with 21 points.
