Real Madrid have reached an agreement in principle with Arda Guler over a new contract, according to AS, with the Turkey midfielder expected to sign a deal running until the middle of 2031.
The agreement is expected to be formalised soon. Real Madrid’s directors want to secure Guler’s long-term future while also underlining his importance to the club’s sporting project.
Guler’s salary will increase as part of the new contract.
The 20-year-old joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2023. Since then, he has made 116 appearances for the Spanish club, scoring 19 goals and providing 26 assists.
