Nigerian midfielder Peter Ademo will spend the rest of the 2024/25 campaign on loan with FC Rapid Bucuresti after the Romanian club' agreement with Sheriff Tiraspol although with an option of a permanent purchase, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Speaking to the club's media after completing the switch, Peter stated his excitement with the offer to start again and show what he can offer.

"It's a good chance for me to show what I can do. I'm excited to play for a club like Rapid, it's a team with an important history and I hope to help achieve their goals. I've only heard good things about the team, about the incredible fans, and I can't wait to play for Giulesti."

The 22-year-old player who featured for the Moldovan team in the Champions League even scoring against Marian Aioani in their 3-0 victory over Farul last season has a varied playing history. His career began with the Daugavpils youth team in Latvia where he competed in the Youth League. He then moved to Lithuania to play for Dainava before eventually signing for Sheriff.
