Barcelona midfielder Pedri has reportedly objected to the club signing Paris St-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz.
Barcelona have been linked with Ruiz in recent days, with reports suggesting head coach Hansi Flick has approved a potential move for the Spain international. Ruiz is believed to be open to returning to his home country.
However, El Nacional, citing Le Parisien, reports that Pedri does not support the proposed transfer.
The report says there is no mutual understanding between the two midfielders. Ruiz is also said to have pushed Pedri down the pecking order in the Spain squad.
Ruiz, 30, is valued at 30m euros by Transfermarkt. His contract with Paris St-Germain was recently extended until the middle of 2028.
