Nicolas Jackson continued his impressive run of form by scoring his third goal for Aston Villa in their Premier League match against Brentford on Saturday.
The forward had only recently returned to club duty after a successful international break with Senegal. Aston Villa were behind when Jackson helped bring them level early in the game.
Positioned at the far post, the African champion converted a cross-shot from Emiliano Buendia after it took a deflection off the Brentford defence.
The goal extends Jackson’s strong start at Aston Villa. He had already scored twice before the international break, and added to his recent impact with Senegal by finding the net against Mozambique and providing an assist against Ethiopia.
The Senegal forward is continuing to contribute in attack as he settles into life at Aston Villa.
