Nico Gonzalez is close to agreeing a new contract with Juventus, with the midfielder expected to sign a deal running until 2030.
Negotiations between the Argentina international and the Turin club have been successful, according to transfer insider Nicolo Schira, who reported the development on social media.
The agreement is expected to be formally completed this month. Gonzalez’s current contract with Juventus is due to expire in 2029.
The 28-year-old returned to Juventus from Atletico Madrid last summer after spending a period on loan with the Spanish club.
Gonzalez has scored once in four Serie A appearances during the current campaign.
