Jose Mourinho says Federico Valverde is prepared to play in any position for Real Madrid after the midfielder featured in defence during the 4-1 La Liga victory over Sevilla.
Valverde started the match at the back and remained on the pitch until the 85th minute, when he was replaced by Eder Militao.
“Mourinho said Valverde is ready to play in any position for Real Madrid.”
The result moved Real Madrid to 21 points from nine matches, leaving them third in the Spanish league table. Their next fixture is against Barcelona on 25 October.
