Sevilla are closing in on the signing of Montpellier forward Jerome Akor Adams, with the Nigerian striker set to undergo a medical in Spain on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Montpellier and Sevilla have agreed to a deal, with the La Liga club paying €5.5m for the 24-year-old.
Akor, a former Nigeria junior international, has scored three goals and registered one assist in 15 league appearances for Montpellier this season.
If the transfer is completed, Akor will join fellow Nigerians Chidera Ejuke and Kelechi Iheanacho at Sevilla.
