Paris Saint-Germain travel to the Stade Velodrome on Sunday as clear favourites to beat Olympique de Marseille in the latest Ligue 1 Classique.
The match, scheduled for 20 September 2026 at 18:45 GMT, comes at a difficult time for Marseille, who have lost their past four matches in all competitions. Nasser Eddy, a consultant for NCI Sport and presenter of the UEFA Champions League on radio Nostalgie, has backed Paris Saint-Germain to win.

Ferran Torres has made an immediate impact since joining Paris Saint-Germain. The Spain forward has scored six goals in five appearances in Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League. He scored 16 goals in 33 La Liga appearances for FC Barcelona last season but faced competition from Robert Lewandowski at club level and Mikel Oyarzabal for Spain.
