Racing head coach Jose Alberto Lopez believes a refereeing decision had a major impact on his side’s La Liga defeat by Real Madrid on Sunday.
Real Madrid took control in the 11th minute when Kylian Mbappe converted a penalty. Jude Bellingham then doubled the visitors’ advantage before Yan Diomande scored a third shortly before half-time to settle the contest.
Lopez said the key decision played an important part in the outcome, although Real Madrid’s victory leaves them third in the table on 27 points.
Racing are 16th with 11 points.
