Liverpool are monitoring Brighton & Hove Albion defender Luka Vuskovic as a possible long-term successor to Virgil van Dijk, according to football insider Ekrem Konur.
Konur reported on social media that the 19-year-old Croatia international could leave Brighton for another club in the English Premier League.
Liverpool are understood to be keeping a close watch on Vuskovic, with the Merseyside club considering him as a potential replacement for the Netherlands defender.
Brighton would be prepared to sell the player if they received an offer of about €120m, according to the report.
Vuskovic has made eight appearances in the Premier League this season and has scored one goal. His contract with Brighton runs until the end of June 2031.
