Liverpool are currently the leading contenders to sign Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, according to The Daily Mail.
Chelsea had recently been reported as the favourites for the 23-year-old, but the report says Liverpool have now emerged as the main candidate to secure his signature. Chelsea remain interested in the player.
Bournemouth are also understood to be prepared to consider selling Scott during the January transfer window, provided they receive an offer worth 118 million euros.
Scott has made six appearances for Bournemouth in all competitions this season. He has scored once and provided two assists.
