Liverpool are considering five established left-backs as they look to strengthen the position and provide competition for Milos Kerkez.
According to Transfer News Live, citing El Nacional, the shortlist includes Newcastle defender Lewis Hall and Federico Dimarco of Inter Milan.
Brentford’s Malik Diouf, Alvaro Carreras of Real Madrid and Sporting Lisbon’s Maximiliano Araujo are also reportedly being considered by the Merseyside club.
Liverpool’s management are understood to be seeking an alternative at left-back because Kerkez is regarded as inconsistent. Talks over the players identified could take place during the winter.
Arne Slot’s side are fifth in the Premier League table, with 15 points from nine matches. Liverpool were beaten 1-0 by Arsenal at home on Sunday.
