Union Berlin and Cologne shared the points after a 1-1 draw in the eighth round of the Bundesliga.
Janik Haberer put the hosts ahead after 10 minutes, finishing a move set up by Tim Skarke with a precise effort. Union Berlin then looked to manage the game from the front, while Cologne searched for a way back into the match.
The visitors finally levelled in the 79th minute. Malek El Mala converted a pass from Alessio Castro-Montes to beat the Union Berlin goalkeeper and restore parity.
Neither side could find a winning goal during the closing stages, leaving the two teams with a point each.
