Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara has given his assessment of Roberto De Zerbi’s future as head coach after a difficult opening to the new Premier League season.
De Zerbi took charge of Tottenham in the spring and helped the club avoid relegation from the Premier League. However, the start of the following campaign has been a major disappointment, with Spurs bottom of the table after five matches.
Tottenham have collected only two points so far, leaving De Zerbi under pressure as he attempts to turn around the club’s form.
The London side’s next fixture comes immediately after the international break, when they travel to face Manchester United on 10 October. Tottenham will then return home to host Coventry on 19 October.
O’Hara, who previously played in midfield for Tottenham, has spoken about the circumstances that could determine whether De Zerbi remains in charge.
