Newcastle head coach Matthias Jaissle said his side were without nine players after their 2-1 victory over Hull in the fifth round of the English championship.
“We were missing nine players,” Jaissle said after the match.
The result moved Newcastle to eight points and eighth place in the table. Hull also have eight points and sit one position below them.
