Iwobi Nominated for Fulham’s February Goal of the Month

Alex Iwobi has been nominated for Fulham FC’s Goal of the Month award for February, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Iwobi earned the nomination for his superb strike in Fulham’s thrilling 3–1 victory over Sunderland AFC at the Stadium of Light.

The Nigerian international latched onto a pass from Harry Wilson in the 85th minute before calmly slotting the ball past the Sunderland goalkeeper.

The 29-year-old has registered four goals and three assists in the Premier League so far this season.

Iwobi last won the individual accolade in February 2024.

Other nominees for the award include Raúl Jiménez, Kevin, Jonah Kusi-Asare, Harrison Reed, Anna Grey, and Macauley Zepa.
