Inter secured a 2-0 win against Venezia in the ninth round of the Italian championship after two late own goals decided the match.
Venezia had frustrated their opponents for most of the game, limiting Inter’s attacking threat and keeping their hopes of taking a positive result alive.
The breakthrough finally arrived in the 80th minute when Matias Moreno diverted the ball into his own net, giving the Milan club the lead.
Inter doubled their advantage just two minutes later. Redouan Halal was the second Venezia player to score an own goal, leaving the visitors with a 2-0 victory.
