Lazio winger Albert Gudmundsson was forced off injured while playing for Iceland against Estonia in the Nations League.
The 29-year-old appeared to hurt himself after an awkward fall and was substituted in the 30th minute, with the score 0-0. Isak Thorvaldsson replaced him as the match eventually finished 1-1.
Football Italia reports that Gudmundsson may have suffered a dislocated shoulder. Further examinations will be needed to establish the full extent of the injury.
Gudmundsson joined Lazio from Fiorentina on loan with an option to buy on the final day of the transfer window.
He has made three appearances for the Rome club, coming on as a substitute in each match. His only goal came in his debut against Udinese on 7 September.
