Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick has been impressed by the attitude and training performances of 18-year-old forward Hamza Abdelkarim, despite the Egyptian making only two appearances for the first team this season, according to Diario SPORT.
Abdelkarim has played just 12 minutes in total in La Liga, but Flick is understood to appreciate the way the striker approaches his work and conducts himself at training.
The young forward has accepted his current role within the squad and is prepared to support Barcelona Atletic if required.
Abdelkarim’s contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2030.
