Genoa have won three consecutive Serie A matches for the first time since January-February 2021, when they were managed by Davide Ballardini.
Their latest victory came on Sunday, when they beat Lecce away from home. The result continues a significant improvement in Genoa’s recent form and has moved the club up to 11th in the league table.
Genoa finished last season in 16th place, but their latest run of results has lifted them five positions higher.
They face another major test in their next Serie A fixture, when Milan visit Genoa on Sunday, 8 November.
