Fulham are preparing to negotiate a new contract with Nigeria international Calvin Bassey, with the Premier League club keen to secure the defender’s long-term future amid reported interest from Inter Milan.
Bassey’s current agreement at Craven Cottage is due to expire next summer. Fulham do, however, have an option to extend the 26-year-old’s contract until 2028, giving the club some protection as they consider his future.
