The encounter is part of Head Coach Hakeem Busari's preparations for the crucial two-legged playoff against Benin Republic's Young Amazons, with a place at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco at stake.
The Flamingos have been one of the standout teams in the qualification series so far. Busari's side secured passage to the final round in emphatic fashion, defeating Guinea 11-0 on aggregate. They first recorded a 5-0 away victory before completing the rout with a 6-0 win in the return leg.
Nigeria have also impressed in their warm-up fixtures, including a comfortable 3-0 victory over Dream Star Ladies, as the coaching crew continues to work on fitness, tactical awareness and team chemistry ahead of the decisive qualifiers.
Benin Republic booked their place in the final round after overcoming Sierra Leone 5-1 on aggregate. The Young Amazons won the first leg 3-0 before sealing qualification with a 2-1 away victory in the reverse fixture.
The first leg of the final qualifying tie is scheduled for July 4, 2026, at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, while the return leg is expected to take place at Stade de Kégué during the second week of July.
