Fiorentina and Atalanta drew 2-2 in their ninth-round Serie A meeting, with the hosts unable to hold on after turning the game around in the second half.

Atalanta took the lead shortly before the interval when Charles De Ketelaere converted his opportunity in the 41st minute. Fiorentina responded strongly after the break and levelled eight minutes into the second half, Aljosa Njie scoring in the 53rd minute.

The hosts then completed their comeback on 61 minutes. Joao Mario found the net to put Fiorentina in front and give the home side control of the match.

Atalanta recovered, however, and secured a share of the points when Nicola Zalewski equalised in the 74th minute. Neither side could find a decisive third goal, leaving the match at 2-2.
