Fares Ghedjemis extends Frosinone contract until 2030

Frosinone have confirmed that Fares Ghedjemis has signed a new contract extending his stay with the Serie A club until the summer of 2030.

The Algeria international has agreed a two-season extension, with the deal officially completed on Thursday.

Ghedjemis’ agent, Sofiane Mahieddine, spoke to Maghreb-Foot after the administrative formalities had been concluded. He said the renewal had been negotiated calmly over recent weeks and welcomed the agreement reached between the player and the club.

The representative also outlined Ghedjemis’ objectives for the season. The 24-year-old is targeting a strong campaign at club level and hopes to earn a return to the Algeria national team.

Ghedjemis, who was born in Montreuil, is currently valued at 12 million euros. Under his previous contract, he earned an annual salary of 830 000 euros, equivalent to 544 457 610 FCFA.

He has played 238 minutes across four matches since the start of the season.

Frosinone’s next fixture will come in the sixth round of the Italian championship, when they face Napoli. The listed odds for the match are 7.00 for a Frosinone win, 4.75 for a draw and 1.44 for a Napoli victory.
