Former Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero believes Como head coach Cesc Fabregas is on course to take charge of one of football’s biggest clubs.

“We will see Fabregas at a big club,” Aguero said while assessing the work of the former Spain international at Como.

Fabregas has reportedly been included on the managerial shortlists of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal and several other clubs.

The 38-year-old has overseen a strong period of progress at Como since taking charge. The club qualified for the Champions League for the first time after finishing last season’s Serie A campaign in a position that secured European football.

Como have also made an impressive start to the new Serie A season. Fabregas’ side are third in the table after four matches, having collected 10 points.

Aguero’s comments come as Fabregas’ reputation continues to grow following Como’s rise in Italian football and their early form in the current campaign.
