Ethan Mbappe has been selected for France Under-21s, following a significant week for the Lille midfielder.
The younger brother of France captain Kylian Mbappe scored his first goal for Lille this season last week, coming off the bench to find the net against Troyes.
However, the 18-year-old’s call-up comes after a mixed period. Before his goal against Troyes, Ethan was sent off in Lille’s match against Betis, leaving his side to play with 10 men.
Mbappe has been a Lille player since 2024.
