Eric Chelle checks on Super Eagles players ahead of qualifiers

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle and his assistant Hedi Taboubi have been visiting players ahead of Nigeria's upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

On Friday, the duo watched winger Moses Simon in action for Nantes in their Ligue 1 match against Brest at the Stade de la Beaujoire. Simon played 68 minutes in the 2-0 defeat.

Earlier in the week, Chelle and Taboubi visited England-based players Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi.

The coaching duo is expected to continue their player visits next week, as they assess their squad's readiness for the crucial qualifiers.
