West Ham secured a commanding lead in the first half, with Tomáš Souek opening the scoring in the 21st minute. A bitter own goal from Jannik Vestergaard just before halftime doubled their advantage to compound Leicester's woes.
The loss leaves the Foxes in the 19th position on 17 points, the same as Ipswich, who are 18th on the log.
Also, the defeat marks a concerning fourth consecutive league loss for Ndidi and Leicester, who now face a daunting trip to Chelsea next Sunday.
