El-Kanemi Warriors have reinforced their squad with the addition of four new players as they push for a strong finish in the league, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
The Borno Army secured the services of Lucky Vandi, a forward from Sunshine Stars, and Jerry Isaac, a goalkeeper from Nasarawa United. Also joining the squad are Chris Conti, a promising striker from an Abuja-based academy, and Mohammed Banguora, who arrives from Sierra Leone’s Kanema Kambio FC.
Currently sixth in the league standings with 32 points, El-Kanemi Warriors are aiming for a continental qualification spot as the season progresses.
Their next challenge will be a home clash against Nasarawa United on Sunday in Maiduguri, where they will look to capitalize on their new reinforcements.
