Former France international Christophe Dugarry has launched a strong attack on Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi, describing his five-year contract with the club as “a real robbery”.
Dugarry, who is known for his spells with Milan and Barcelona, criticised De Zerbi after Tottenham’s difficult start to the Premier League season.
“What he has done is a real robbery,” said Dugarry, referring to the Italian manager’s contract.
Tottenham have taken only two points from their opening four Premier League matches and are yet to score in the competition. Their goalless run has now lasted more than 400 minutes.
The club spent about 350m euros on transfers during the summer.
