The Democratic Republic of the Congo will face Uganda twice in October, with the two matches confirmed for 2 and 5 October during the next FIFA international window.
The Uganda Football Federation (FUFA) has announced its squad for the upcoming camp and confirmed the dates of the friendlies against the Leopards.
According to sources close to the Congolese Football Federation (FECOFA), both matches will be played at a neutral venue in South Africa.
The fixtures will give the two sides an opportunity to develop their tactical understanding and assess their respective squads in competitive match conditions.
The double-header comes at an important stage for the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The friendlies are scheduled to follow the start of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, in which the Leopards will face Equatorial Guinea and Zimbabwe.
For the Congolese technical staff, the two games will provide a chance to maintain the squad’s competitive rhythm, fine-tune preparations and assess the players’ fitness ahead of their next continental commitments.
