Dani Olmo intends to finish his playing career at Dinamo Zagreb rather than Barcelona, according to his agent Andy Bara.
The 28-year-old has become an important player for club and country since returning to Spain in 2024. During that time, he has won two LaLiga titles and a FIFA World Cup crown with Spain in the summer.
Olmo remains under contract at Estadio Camp Nou until 2030 and is not currently seeking a move away from Barcelona. Despite speculation linking him with Bayern Munich in 2027, the arrival of La Roja captain Rodri does not appear to have affected his position in Hansi Flick's plans.
However, Bara says the midfielder has a long-term ambition to go back to Dinamo Zagreb, the club he joined after leaving Barcelona's La Masia academy in 2014. Olmo returned to Barcelona a decade later.
“He wants to finish his career at Dinamo Zagreb and he hopes that will happen, even as a coach. He would like to start back there,” Bara said.
The agent indicated that a return to Croatia is unlikely to take place before the end of Olmo's current Barcelona contract.
