Former England defender and television pundit Jamie Carragher has criticised the incident involving Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister and Arsenal winger Noni Madueke, describing it as “a disgrace” and saying such incidents must come to an end.
Mac Allister went to ground after making contact with Madueke during Liverpool’s home match against Arsenal.
Arsenal won 1-0 at Anfield, with Kai Havertz scoring the only goal of the match.
