Brighton show interest in Lazios' midfield ace

English Premier League side, Brighton has registered their concrete interest in Lazio's midfield ace Fisayo Dele-Bashiru with the Seagulls reportedly pushing to have the deal completed before the end of the January transfer window closes, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 23-year-old Nigeria international who is on loan from Turkish club Hatayspor has caught the attention of top European clubs albeit only the high-flying English team has shown intent of acquisition.

According to Sportwitness UK, the club has submitted an inquiry about his availability. However, Lazio have firmly rebuffed Brighton's approach, indicating that they have no intention of selling the young midfielder.

Dele-Bashiru joined Lazio during the summer transfer window and has quickly impressed. The Italian club views him as a valuable asset with significant potential for growth. Consequently, they are committed to retaining him for the foreseeable future and developing him within their squad but they do have to activate his permanent purchase option to make him theirs.
