Lille will attempt to get their Champions League campaign off the mark when they visit Bodø/Glimt at Aspmyra Stadion on Tuesday, with the French side having failed to collect a point from their opening three matches in the league phase.
The match will kick off at 20:00 GMT on Tuesday, 03 November 2026, in Bodø.
In France, the game will be shown on Canal+ Foot and myCANAL. It will be available on SuperSport Premier League and New World Sport in sub-Saharan Africa, DAZN and Proximus Pickx in Belgium, Blue Sport in Switzerland, Ziggo Sport in the Netherlands, Movistar Liga de Campeones in Spain, Paramount+ and beIN XTRA in the United States, and beIN Sports in North Africa. DAZN will broadcast the fixture in Germany, Italy, Portugal and Austria.
First meeting between the clubs
This will be the first competitive meeting between Bodø/Glimt and Lille. Bodø/Glimt have faced French opposition twice previously without winning, drawing one and losing one.
Lille, by contrast, have a perfect record from their only previous fixture against a Norwegian club.
Contrasting European fortunes
Bodø/Glimt remain outside the Champions League qualification places but ended a run of two successive defeats by beating Viking 3-2 domestically.
Their European campaign has included a dramatic 4-3 defeat at Napoli and a 5-0 loss against Bayern Munich. However, the Norwegian club also recorded an impressive 1-0 home victory over Borussia Dortmund.
They have not lost at home in Europe and have won their past six continental matches at Aspmyra Stadion. That record will give Kjetil Knutsen’s side confidence as they look to maintain their strong home form.
Lille are 35th in the overall league-phase standings and have lost all three of their Champions League matches so far. Their 1-0 victory over Lens in the northern derby provided welcome relief, but Davide Ancelotti’s side continue to struggle away from home and in European competition.
The defeat against Lens had ended a difficult period domestically, yet Lille remain on a run of five consecutive European defeats, matching their worst sequence in the competition.
Defensive issues are also a concern. Lille have gone 11 Champions League matches without keeping a clean sheet and have conceded in each of their past 13 away games in Europe. They will need to address those problems if they are to avoid another setback in Norway.
Prediction
Bodø/Glimt’s home record and Lille’s difficulties on the road make the hosts favourites. Lille’s derby success offers some encouragement, but their defensive record and the Norwegian side’s ability to challenge leading European teams suggest a demanding night for the visitors.
Africafoot’s prediction is a 2-1 victory for Bodø/Glimt.
