OGC Nice have completed the signing of Alidu Seidu as a joker, several days after the summer transfer window closed.
The 26-year-old Ghana defender moves from Stade Rennais on a season-long loan, with the club hoping his arrival will provide greater depth and flexibility in defence for the rest of the campaign.
Seidu is a Ghana international and brings experience and versatility to the Nice squad. His recruitment comes as the club look to increase their options at the back.
The defender will now aim to establish himself quickly under his new colours and help OGC Nice achieve their targets this season.
According to Transfermarkt, Seidu’s current market value is estimated at 6 million euros.
The move comes ahead of Stade Rennais’ fifth league match of the season, when they face Olympique Lyonnais.
