Algeria will host Niger on 6 October in a friendly designed to give both sides an opportunity to assess their squads and refine their tactical plans.
The meeting brings together two African national teams with different objectives, but both coaches will use the fixture to review their available players ahead of future commitments. Algeria are expected to make several adjustments because of injuries within their camp, while Niger arrive with almost their full squad available.

Algeria will be without Adem Zorgane and Anis Hadj Moussa, who have withdrawn from the squad after suffering injuries.
Samir Chergui remains a doubt after missing the team’s collective training session. He instead worked individually with the fitness coach, leaving his involvement against Niger uncertain.

Niger have fewer concerns before travelling to Algeria, with the coaching staff able to call on almost the entire squad.
The only fitness doubt is Amadou Moutari, who was substituted at half-time against Gabon and has yet to be confirmed as fit for this match. No other injuries have been reported in the Niger squad.
