AFCON Morocco 2025: star studded African legends set to grace final draw

African football governing body CAF has revealed a host of star-studded African legends that would grace the highly anticipated TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Morocco 2025 which is set to take place at the Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat on Monday, 27 January, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

These veterans who have etched their names in the folklore of African football include Essam El Hadary (Egypt), Patrick Mboma (Cameroon), Aymen Mathlouthi, Momo Sissoko (Mali), Christopher Katongo (Zambia), Aymen Mathlouthi (Tunisia), and Ivorian Gervais Yao Kouassi popularly hailed as Gervinho.

These legendary figures, renowned for their exceptional contributions to their respective nations and the advancement of African football, have etched their names indelibly in the annals of football history. Their presence at the opening ceremony will undoubtedly elevate the occasion to new heights.
