Abraham Ojo signs first professional contract with Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv

Abraham Emmanuel Ojo has signed a professional contract with Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

The 18-year-old FC Bethel Sporting youth prodigy sealed the deal upon reaching his 18th birthday.

The talented midfielder, who began his football journey at FC Bethel of Lagos, was discovered by agent Paul Ojo Omamomo at a scouting program held at Ikenne, Remo in Ogun State.

The lad had been taken to Russia by Omamomo, the Head scout for the Russian club, FDC Vista, where he had trials and was successful.

His parents club expressed joy over the move of their prodigy.

“We are really excited and we rejoice with one of our own, Abraham Ojo, who just signed his first professional contract with Bulgarian club, Botev Plovdiv”.

“I recall vividly when he came from Gboko, Benue State, with other players for trials many years ago. It was just like yesterday”, said coach Nathaniel Olagunju, FC Bethel Sporting Head coach/CEO.
