Osimhen, who claimed the 2023 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award, continues to impress with his stellar performances for Napoli. His partner, Lookman, who succeeded Osimhen to claim the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year title, has been a key player for Atalanta, marking a year of tremendous success for both club and country.
The rest of the standout players featured in the Africa XI include goalkeeper Andre Onana, defenders Achraf Hakimi, Khalidou Koulibaly, and Chancel Mbemba, along with midfielders Mohammed Kudus, Sofyan Amrabat, Franck Kessie, and Yves Bissouma, rounding off a formidable lineup for the continent's best.
